About
A short account
I have taken machines apart since I was a child. I built my first computer at twelve. At seventeen I started web work on my brother's sports site. The job has changed. The habit has not: find how a system works, then make it hold.
I work as a full-stack engineer. I have led teams. I have also sat down and written the code. Most of my recent work is SaaS: Next.js and Nest.js, PostgreSQL, and a cloud host. I care about clear models, tests you can trust, and deploys that do not surprise you.
I live in Detroit Metro. I run Go Ideal Software. I am the solo forward deployed engineer at Horizon Engage from June 2026 to present. I was a senior software engineer at OneMagnify from May 2025 to September 2025. Before that I built software at A Place for Mom from April 2022 to May 2023, and contracted at IQVIA from April 4, 2021 to April 4, 2022. At Mr. Cooper in Lewisville, from November 2018 to January 2020, I was Manager Information Systems and Principal Information Systems Developer. Before that I worked at CBRE, and as a Full Stack ASP.NET Engineer at Verizon.
This site is a public notebook. It is not a pitch deck. If you want to talk about a product or a system, write me at rami@ramisoftware.com.
